HIGH STYLEThe Morris Chair is an example of an early type of reclining chair first marketed around 1866. The design features a seat with a reclining back and moderately high armrests, which give the chair an old-style appearance. Today it is known more as an example of Arts and Crafts style due to adaptations made by Gustav Stickley and others.
